Every Android OEM puts battery charge protection somewhere else, names it something else, and some do not surface it at all. Amply drives them from one app — and can temporarily lift the limit when you actually need a full charge, restoring your protection at 100%, on unplug, or on a timeout.
Still experimental: it needs Shizuku or WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS, and only physically-qualified devices get real control. Everything else gets a diagnostics mode that helps add support.
